 1. QUALIFICATION:

M.Sc Agriculture/B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, (Agronomy/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/Soil Science/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Food Technology/ Horticulture/ Agriculture Extension Education/Agriculture Economics/ Agriculture & Resource Economics/Farm Management/ Plant Protection) having at least 2nd Division from a recognized University or Institution.

Male Candidates: 21 to 35 + 05 Years General Age Relaxation in Upper Age Limit vide Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81dated 21-05-2012 = 40 Years on 20-07-2015.

The Classification of Land as a Farm Regulation, B.C. Reg. 411/95, made under the Assessment Act, provides that the following land may qualify for farm class:

a) land used for a qualifying agricultural use;
b) land used for a purpose that contributes to a qualifying agricultural use;
c) land used for a farmer’s dwelling;
d) land in an agricultural land reserve (ALR) that is used for a retired farmer’s dwelling;
e) land used for the training and boarding of horses when operated in conjunction with horse rearing; and
f) in some cases, vacant land associated with a farm.
